Here are just some of the ways we serve:

Samaritan's Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan's Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God's love through His Son, Jesus Christ. Each fall, volunteers fill shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and other items to send to these children all over the world who are in need.  Learn more at

GBC Food Pantry is a ministry that delivers food to local shelters on a regular basis. Feel free to bring non-perishable food items to the church on Sunday, and we will see that it gets to those in need.

Good Shepherd Mission "presents and teaches gospel to men fighting all kinds of addictions. Graduates go on to restored lives in the community," and "families are restored."  A group of men from G.B.C. goes each Wednesday to work with and support the mission.  Learn more at

Urban LifeSource Connection/PWA Ministry is a NYC ministry for people with AIDS.  GBC supports a summer picnic and a Christmas party each year for those dealing with this illness.  We collect and donate items for them to give as gifts.  They also welcome volunteers to assist with the visitations.  More info can be found at

First Choice Woman's Resource Center
is an organization that provides free resources to women who are experiencing or at risk for an unplanned pregnancy.  We collect money to help support this worthy cause. Learn more at
